Ashmead is a spacious ground floor apartment with easy driveway parking and pretty gardens to the side and rear, located close to the village shops, pub, restaurants, coffee shops, and is within easy walking distance of the beach and harbour.
The apartment has a cosy sitting/dining room that opens on to a sunny conservatory and gardens. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer. The bathroom has a basin, bath and shower, with a separate WC.
The two bedrooms are a spacious double and a twin.
All linen and towels are provided.
Ashmead is a non smoking property and we are unable to accept pets.

We had a lovely stay. The location is perfect - very close to shops and plenty of places to eat and takeaways within walking distance. Beach a ten minute walk away. We didn't have a car but managed to get around the Island using the excellent bus service - bus stops for both directions a couple of minutes walk away. The flat was very well equipped. It was a very lovely house to stay in. It felt a bit like being in a house rather than a flat because it is so spacious. When I said it was a bit better than I expected, that was only because it looked really nice in the pictures, so I did think it would definitely be good, but it was even a little better than that! We especially liked the conservatory, which was so charming and private. Also, a nice sun trap! I liked the family history from the owner in the house book.
