Do I have to pay to market my property with Wight Coast Holidays?
No we do not charge a joining fee and will help you with photographs and pricing. If you wish to obtain a star grading for your property we can also assist with this.
What do I need to adhere to when letting my property?
The owner is responsible for making sure all relevant checks are made on property including:
Fire Regulations
Annual PAT and Gas Boiler checks
Access Statement
Energy Performance Certificate
Insurance
All this will be explained to you during your induction process.
When do i receive payments from holidays taken?
Owners receive payments at the end of each month of holidays taken e.g.. a holiday ending on 4th July will be paid 31st July
Can I advertise with other Letting agents?
We are happy for you to advertise with other agents providing we are informed about availability.
Do you charge VAT on holiday sales?
At present we do not charge VAT on holiday sales.
What do Wight Coast Holiday guests expect ?
Our guests expect a clean and comfortable stay in pleasant relaxing surroundings.
What happens about changeovers/cleaning?
We can organise all the required cleaning needed from reputable companies or you can take responsibility for your own housekeeping.
What happens if guests damage my property?
We take a deposit before arrival to cover accidental damage and it is returned once holiday home is checked.
Can I book out the property for my own use?
It is your property and we are happy for you to choose when you would like us to let your home and when you wish to stay in it your self. Reasonable notice is required and confirmed bookings must be honoured.
